Agrotech Startup Wavar Expands IPM Solutions to Over 50 Farmer Producer Organizations

Agrotech startup Wavar is making waves in the agricultural sector by extending its Integrated Pest Management (IPM) solutions to more than 50 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) across India. Known for its eco-friendly approach to pest control, Wavar’s solutions focus on reducing chemical pesticide usage while enhancing crop health and yield. By collaborating with FPOs, the startup is helping thousands of smallholder farmers adopt sustainable farming practices, thereby boosting productivity and reducing environmental impact.

Wavar’s IPM solutions combine biological pest control agents with modern technologies, offering farmers tools such as pest monitoring systems and actionable data insights. These innovations ensure precise pest control, allowing farmers to minimize losses and improve crop quality.

“FPOs are integral to the growth of Indian agriculture, and we are proud to partner with them to drive sustainable, low-residue farming. Our goal is to provide FPOs with the tools they need to succeed in today’s competitive market while ensuring that farmers benefit from reduced input costs and higher-quality produce. We believe this partnership will have a lasting impact on Indian agriculture, helping farmers achieve both profitability and sustainability.”

The startup’s expansion into FPO networks highlights its commitment to scaling eco-friendly pest management at the grassroots level. The collaboration is expected to enhance agricultural sustainability, especially in states where small-scale farming is dominant.

With its growing reach, Wavar is positioning itself as a key player in India’s agrotech landscape, helping farmers move towards a greener and more sustainable future. The initiative aligns with India’s broader efforts to promote sustainable agriculture and reduce dependence on harmful chemicals in farming.
