Source.ag, a leading provider of AI solutions for vegetable growers, has appointed Matthias Stammen as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Stammen, a dynamic leader with experience across Europe, the US, and Asia, joins the team after playing pivotal roles in the success of two unicorn startups, Choco and Forto, where he was instrumental in their meteoric rise.

With a Master’s degree from Copenhagen Business School, Stammen’s passion for food and agricultural innovation is deeply rooted. His connection to the sector began five years ago during his involvement with Wageningen University, where he continues to serve as a Business Mentor at StartHub Wageningen. His new role at Source.ag aligns with his ambition to lead efforts in creating a more efficient, sustainable, and climate-resilient food production system.

“Building a purpose-driven, impactful company in the agriculture and food production space has always been my North Star. I’m thrilled to apply my expertise to a company that’s working towards such a meaningful mission. I look forward to collaborating with growers, plant scientists, and data specialists to develop solutions that will empower more growers to meet the increasing demand for fresh vegetables and fruits.”
