FutureProp is designed for a variety of agricultural stakeholders, including propagators, greenhouse operators and tree nurseries. With rising demands for food and reforestation, these groups can benefit from faster growth cycles and higher-quality plants while maximizing existing space. Additionally, FutureProp targets the forestry sector by improving tree seedling survival rates, addressing supply challenges while promoting sustainability in both food and forest product production.
FutureProp employs a multi-layer approach that integrates key components:
- AVF+ Germination Chamber: This unit maintains ideal temperature and humidity for quick seed germination, enabling sprouting in just two to three days.
- AVF+ Compact Cell: For the initial stages of the growing cycle, trays are kept in a controlled environment that optimizes light, temperature, and nutrients.
- Automated Seeder: This device prepares trays by seeding and watering at high rates, enhancing productivity from the start.
- Transplanting Unit: This automation streamlines transplanting, reducing the labor needed for these processes.
These features will allow growers to increase output without needing additional land.
