AVPL-AICTE Partner to Launch Aero-Vision Labs Nationwide

AVPL International, an agricultural drone technology company, has partnered with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to establish AVPL Aero-Vision Labs in AICTE-approved institutions across the country. This strategic collaboration aims to set up 50 Aero-Vision Labs initially, enhancing technical education and providing students and faculty with hands-on experience in advanced drone technology.

AICTE Chairman T.G. Sitharam highlighted the significance of this initiative as a transformative step in equipping students with essential skills aligned with the council’s mission to elevate technical education and promote industry-relevant training. The Aero-Vision Labs will focus on practical training in drone operation, maintenance, and applications, bridging the gap between academia and industry.

Preet Sandhu, Founder and Managing Director of AVPL, emphasized the initiative’s potential to empower the future workforce by offering global employment opportunities through drone education. With the company’s expertise as a DGCA-certified drone manufacturer and training provider, the collaboration aims to build a skilled talent pool capable of addressing real-world challenges through innovative technology.

The partnership will not only provide specialized training programs but also equip participating institutions with advanced equipment and ongoing support from AVPL. This collaboration seeks to cultivate a new generation of professionals adept in using drone technology across various industries, addressing the growing demand for certified drone pilots and operators.

In addition to enhancing student skills, the Aero-Vision Labs will encourage innovation by allowing students to explore unique applications of drones. The initiative aligns with AICTE’s vision of improving technical education and preparing students for the evolving job market.

The event was also attended by AICTE Vice Chairman Abhay Jere and Member Secretary Rajive Kumar.

As the program progresses, there is potential for expansion to more institutions, further fostering a network of drone technology expertise across India. This partnership marks a significant advancement in integrating technology into engineering education, setting the stage for a skilled workforce ready to meet the challenges of the growing drone industry.
