JUMBO X Features

As per the MASCHIO , the JUMBO X harrow boasts a working width of 10 meters, enabling an increase in productivity by at least 25% while optimizing tractor power usage. It is constructed with HEAVY DUTY frames and BLINDATO bearings, ensuring exceptional durability even in challenging conditions. The ISOTRONIC system allows for precise control of all machine functions, enhancing operational efficiency. Despite its size, the JUMBO X is designed for nimble transport on roads. The automatic wing lifting system facilitates easier maneuvers at the end of fields, and the harrow requires minimal maintenance due to its cardan and Zero maintenance cruises.

EIMA 2024: A Comprehensive Program

The International Agricultural and Gardening Machinery Exhibition, EIMA 2024, will take place at the Bologna exhibition center from November 6 to 10. This year’s event includes a full schedule of meetings focusing on various important topics within the agricultural sector, including innovative technologies, market development, cooperation, and the application of robotics and artificial intelligence.

Extensive Conference Schedule

EIMA 2024 will feature over 150 meetings, comprising conferences, talk shows, workshops and other appointments related to agriculture and agro-mechanics. These sessions aim to provide insights on issues such as the common agricultural policy, machinery and services for agriculture and green care, international cooperation, workplace safety, employment prospects, and new technological advancements.

The program is developed in collaboration with institutional bodies, specialist publications, professional organizations, and associations active in the agricultural and agro-industrial supply chains, ensuring a comprehensive overview of current trends and challenges.

Focus on Political and Economic Discussions

The event coincides with heightened political discussions on eco-sustainable agriculture models, as noted by FederUnacoma, the Italian federation of manufacturers organizing the event. The discussions will cover market geography, the development of the African continent, incentive systems, and the professional training needs within agriculture and agro-mechanics.

The inaugural discussion, titled “Technologies for the agromechanical industry, professional skills and markets: new challenges for agricultural businesses,” is scheduled for the first day of the exhibition. An afternoon conference will address the “African Continental Free Trade Area, agriculture and mechanization: a window on the future,” focusing on the continent’s development prospects following the establishment of the free trade area.

Spotlight on Digital and Robotic Technologies

The exhibition will also prioritize digital and robotic technologies, along with artificial intelligence applications in agricultural processes and management. A structured program sponsored by FederUnacoma, in collaboration with the international association of agricultural digital experts (AEF), will feature discussions on topics such as “Agricultural Robotics: The Future is Now,” “AEF, ISOBUS and the Importance of Certification,” and “Data, Cybersecurity, AI and more in the new European legislative program.”

Further conferences will explore advanced electronic technologies, including sessions on “Artificial Intelligence: an industry perspective” and “Transition 5.0 in agriculture.” The event will host official presentations of European research and training projects, such as “Agri Digital Growth,” which involves collaboration with CREA and entities from nine European countries.

Emphasis on Sustainability and Young Talent

EIMA 2024 will address a range of sustainability topics, including health defense, agrivoltaics and both traditional and electric motors. Safety in agricultural work, financing options, and purchasing procedures for agricultural machinery will also be discussed. The program will feature seminars and workshops on bioenergy and the circular economy, promoted by ITABIA as part of the EIMA Green Show.

Special attention will be given to young farmers and students through a structured program sponsored by AGIA-CIA, including the conference “Agrimage: the creativity of young people at the service of agromechanics,” where prizes for the “Agrimage” contest will be awarded. Additionally, the Mechagrijobs initiative will promote employment opportunities within the agromechanical supply chain, specifically targeting a younger audience.

Annual Awards and Industry Meetings

EIMA 2024 will include regular prestigious events such as the Tractor of the Year awards, sponsored by Trattori magazine, and the Contractor of the Year awards, organized by the Edagricole publishing group. The exhibition will also feature the EIMA Social Awards competition.

Throughout the five-day event, discussions on trends in agricultural mechanics will occur across various levels, alongside the assembly of the Club of Bologna and the Agrievolution meeting. EIMA 2024 promises to be an important platform for stakeholders in the agricultural machinery sector to engage in meaningful dialogue and explore the future of the industry.
