DweepTickure Herbal Acaricide Licensed through MoU by ICAR-CIARI, Panchajanya for Sustainable Livestock Health

DweepTickure, a herbal acaricide designed to address tick infestations in livestock, has been licensed by ICAR-Central Island Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR-CIARI) through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Panchajanya Enterprises, Bengaluru. The collaboration aims to commercialize DweepTickure, offering livestock owners an eco-friendly alternative to chemical-based acaricides. This product seeks to enhance animal health and reduce the economic burden caused by tick-related diseases.

The MoU was signed by Dr. E.B. Chakurkar, Director of ICAR-CIARI, and M.K. Kamala, CEO of Panchajanya Enterprises. The agreement was formalized on December 17, 2024, at the ICAR-CIARI premises in Sri Vijaya Puram.

Developed by a research team comprising Dr. T. Sujatha, Dr. Jai Sunder, Dr. D. Bhattacharya, Dr. E.B. Chakurkar, and Dr. A.K. De, DweepTickure is a patented herbal formulation. The product uses herbal extracts infused with herbal oils to effectively combat tick infestations and repel flies from domestic animals.

Its eco-friendly and non-toxic composition ensures safety for animals and the environment.
