Before joining Ostara, he was the CEO of Custom Agronomics and previously led Plant Response Inc., a biotechnology firm specializing in nutrient use efficiency, plant health, and soil enhancement. Under his leadership, Plant Response saw rapid growth, successfully secured substantial funding, expanded its product portfolio, and carried out strategic acquisitions. His tenure culminated in the company’s acquisition by The Mosaic Company in 2022, integrating it into the Mosaic Biosciences division.
Snipes also held leadership roles at Pinnacle Agricultural Holdings and Koch Industries, where he played a key role in business development, executing growth strategies, and identifying acquisition opportunities. His extensive background in both business management and agricultural innovation makes him well-positioned to steer Ostara into its next phase of development.
