AgBoost Secures $500K Investment

AgBoost, a data analytics solutions provider for cattle producers, has closed a US$ 500,000 investment round led by a private angel investor. In a parallel development, the company has entered into a strategic licensing agreement with MedIrAlis, an animal health company based in Australia. The two developments are expected to advance AgBoost’s capabilities in genomic data application and broaden its global footprint.

The US$ 500,000 capital infusion reflects continued interest in data-driven tools that support decision-making in breeding, health, nutrition, and market value optimization in livestock production. The funds will be allocated toward enhancing AgBoost’s platform features and fostering new collaborations. AgBoost CEO Sean Akadiri stated that the investment affirms the company’s direction and provides the resources necessary to support cattle producers through improved data solutions.

“This funding will allow us to bring new features to our platform, foster collaborations with industry leaders, and help cattle producers make smarter, data-driven decisions for better breeding selection and improved production.”

This includes applications not only in livestock but also in companion animals.

AgBoost’s platform is designed to produce actionable insights that aid ranchers and animal professionals in optimizing breeding strategies, managing health and nutrition, and maximizing market potential.
