Gomini, a managed cow care service platform, has officially gone live in India with the objective of reviving the cow based economy through responsible ownership, traditional wellness practices, and rural empowerment. Founded in April 2025 by Dr Arjun Sharma and Gauri Shankar, the company operates from Bihar and aims to combine the cultural significance of indigenous breeds with modern technology to build a sustainable ecosystem.
Connecting Urban Families with Indigenous Cows
Gomini allows urban families to own native cows while ensuring their care through trained rural women and farmers. The company runs as a closed, invite only ecosystem designed to uphold dignity and devotion in cow care. Each cow under the platform directly supports a rural caretaker, providing her with a steady income stream, financial independence, and the ability to contribute to her community’s economic growth.
The owners, in return, receive pure A2 milk, Panchagavya based wellness products, and immersive rural experiences such as cow worship, village tourism, craft learning, and spiritual retreats.
Tradition and Technology Combined
The company has integrated advanced technologies to ensure transparency and build emotional connections between owners and their cows. Every cow is RFID tagged and linked to a blockchain based NFT for secure and lifelong ownership records. IoT devices track real time health and activity, while AI systems monitor behavioural patterns to detect early signs of illness or distress. Owners are also provided live farm access through CCTV enabled computer vision.
Looking ahead, Gomini is developing an augmented reality feature to allow virtual interaction between owners and their cows.
Panchagavya and Sustainable Farming
The native cows housed at TTD’s Sri Venkateswara Gosamrakshanasala already play a role in producing Panchagavya based products, highlighting the traditional potential of indigenous breeds. Gomini seeks to expand this approach by building ecosystems where Panchagavya, natural farming, and rural livelihoods converge.
The platform aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), particularly in areas such as poverty alleviation, gender equality, sustainable agriculture, and climate action. As the initiative scales, Gomini plans to develop villages that house 500 or more cows, converting them into self reliant, chemical free organic farming ecosystems.

Access and Expansion
The Gomini app is available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, enabling individuals to begin their cow ownership journey digitally. The platform has already received a positive response from its early users.
“With Gomini, we aim to bring prosperity home by restoring the cultural, ecological, and economic significance of India’s indigenous cows. Our mission is to reconnect people with their roots while empowering rural women and communities, creating sustainable livelihoods through the sacred bond between humans and cows.”
He added: “By aligning with global UNSDG targets and combining trust, tradition, and technology, we are building a lasting bridge between urban individuals and rural caretakers. As villages under Gomini’s care grow to house 500 or more cows, we will be able to turn them into fully self reliant, chemical free organic farming ecosystems.”
Gomini’s launch marks a step toward blending cultural heritage with modern technology, creating a sustainable framework that benefits both urban owners and rural communities. By fostering responsible cow ownership, supporting rural women, and promoting Panchagavya based practices, the platform envisions a future where traditional wisdom and innovative tools coexist, driving economic, ecological, and social well being across India’s villages.
