Germany based machinery manufacturer Fendt has unveiled an expanded lineup of its Vario tractors, covering both specialty narrow gauge models and high output series for larger agricultural operations. The portfolio now includes the Fendt 200 V/F/P Vario, designed for vineyards, orchards, and specialty crops, alongside the newly launched 300, 500, 700 Gen7.1, 800, and 1000 series. This comprehensive range caters to diverse farming requirements, combining operational efficiency, comfort, and precision across small, medium, and large scale agricultural tasks.

Fendt 200 V/F/P Vario: Specialized Design for Vineyards and Orchards

The Fendt 200 V/F/P Vario is built specifically for high value specialty crops such as vineyards and fruit plantations. Its narrow gauge design allows navigation in tight rows and challenging terrains while maintaining compact dimensions. The tractor offers up to 124 HP, continuous Vario transmission for seamless speed adjustment, and a spacious cab with an extended windscreen for excellent visibility. The FendtONE operating system provides intuitive control of all functions, allowing operators to combine precision, power, and comfort in daily operations.

The series includes multiple models, from the 207 V/F Vario with 79 HP to the 211 V/F/P Vario reaching 124 HP, ensuring growers can select a tractor suited to their operational requirements. The 211 V/F/P Vario features DynamicPerformance (DP) technology, which automatically delivers an additional 10 HP when extra power is needed, supporting PTO driven equipment, hydraulics, and steep terrains. The engine meets Stage V / Tier 4f emission standards, employing exhaust after treatment systems, including diesel particle filters and AdBlue injection, to reduce emissions while maintaining fuel efficiency.

The Vario transmission enables stepless speed adjustment from 20 km/h to 40 km/h, saving up to 7% in work time and 9% in diesel consumption compared to conventional power shift transmissions. Even on steep slopes, the system ensures safe deceleration, secure holding, and smooth acceleration, protecting the soil and increasing operator confidence. The compact cab offers ergonomic seating and adjustable controls, while optional Category 4 filter systems safeguard against dust, vapors, and liquid fertilizers. Hydraulics with flow rates up to 119 l/min, load sensing technology, and separate oil circuits allow the operation of multiple attachments efficiently, while also supporting the use of bio oils and longer maintenance intervals.

New Generations of Fendt Vario Series

Alongside the 200 series, Fendt has introduced updated generations of the 300, 500, 700 Gen7.1, 800, and 1000 Vario tractors. These models target mid to large scale farming operations, offering a combination of power, versatility, and operational efficiency. The 300, 500, and 700 Gen7.1 series provide balanced performance for medium sized tasks, including row crops and mixed farming systems, with seamless Vario transmission allowing precise speed adjustments and smoother operation without gear changes.

The 700 Gen7.1 incorporates the latest Gen7.1 technology, enhancing control, precision, and safety. Updated cab designs offer improved visibility, ergonomic layouts, and integrated digital interfaces for easy management of attachments and implements. The 800 and 1000 series cater to high output operations, featuring higher horsepower, advanced driveline systems, and hydraulics capable of handling multiple implements simultaneously, ensuring consistent performance across large-scale agricultural tasks.

Efficiency, Sustainability, and Operator Comfort Across the Range

All new generations are designed with fuel efficiency and sustainability in mind. Engines comply with Stage V / Tier 4f emission standards and include advanced exhaust after treatment systems to reduce emissions. Hydraulic and transmission systems are optimized for lower fuel consumption while maintaining operational performance. Spacious, climate controlled cabs with adjustable controls provide operator comfort during long hours, and optional filter systems protect against dust, chemicals, and crop protection products, ensuring safety in specialized farming operations.

A Complete Portfolio for Modern Agriculture

With the combination of the 200 V/F/P Vario specialized series and the high output 300, 500, 700 Gen7.1, 800, and 1000 series, Fendt offers a comprehensive solution for diverse agricultural needs. From navigating narrow vineyard rows to managing extensive field operations, the Vario lineup delivers efficiency, reliability, and operational flexibility. Farmers benefit from modern technology, ergonomic design, and robust performance, ensuring productivity, sustainability, and long term value across all scales of farming.
