Edacious, a food tech solutions company that provides quality analysis and nutritional transparency, has partnered with Regenerative Organic Alliance (ROA) establishing a framework for measuring and understanding the nutritional impact of Regenerative Organic Certified (ROC) on crops and human health. The ROA is a standards organization for regenerative organic agriculture that developed the ROC standard, covering food, textiles, and personal care products.
Over the next four years, Edacious will collaborate with the ROA to identify and test more than 200 ROC food products through the Edacious Food Lab. The partnership aims to analyse the nutritional quality and safety of ROC crops compared to conventional, organic, and regenerative non organic products.

Eric Smith, CEO of Edacious, stated that working with the Regenerative Organic Alliance allows the company to bring critical, science based transparency to the value of regenerative organic farming across their growing global network. He added that the goal is to support a deeper understanding of how food is grown and how it impacts the health of both people and the planet.
Edacious and ROA Drive Insights
Edacious and ROA will collaborate to identify and test ROC food products through the Edacious Food Lab, generating data on nutritional quality and safety and providing insights into how regenerative organic practices impact nutrition. Under the partnership, Edacious will also serve as a preferred provider for ROA members, offering its Discovery Analysis Package at a preferred rate.
This partnership brings us one step closer to proving what farmers have long understood: that how we grow our food matters. By generating measurable data around nutrient density and toxicity, we can better demonstrate the true value of Regenerative Organic Certified farming and products for human and planetary health.
Through this collaboration, ROA members will have access to complete range of testing and reporting services of Edacious. This will also enable ROA to assess the macronutrient and micronutrient content of their products and connect farming practices to nutritional results. This robust offering combines lab analysis for nutritional quality and toxicity with innovative reporting tools that help producers and brands communicate the safety and unique nutritional value of their food to customers and stakeholders.
Bridging Agriculture and Human Health
The global food system in modern times has focused on yield over quality, ignoring nutrient density, which has contributed to malnutrition, chronic disease, and soil degradation. Edacious was founded to address this imbalance, connecting agriculture to human health. The ROA, responsible for standards in advancing soil health, animal welfare, and social fairness, drives the adoption of regenerative organic farming as part of its mission to reshape agriculture. In partnership with Edacious, the organization is committed to turn the nutritional quality and safety of food into actionable insights, demonstrating how farming practices directly influence the health of people and the planet.
This partnership can bring measurable, verified nutrient data into discussions about agricultural methods and food quality. The collaboration can potentially create a data backbone to shift attention towards incentivising farming practices that restores ecosystems and produce healthier food.
