KPM Analytics, a global provider of scientific instrumentation and vision process machinery, introduced a new suite of 10 ready to use Near Infrared (NIR) Calibration Packages for its SpectraStar XT NIR Analyzer Series, creating an expanded pathway for food and agriculture producers to access faster, simplified, and high confidence quality analysis. The release is structured to support processors who rely on NIR technology to evaluate essential quality parameters including moisture, protein, fat (oil), and fiber. These attributes, crucial for both food and feed workflows, depend on calibration models that translate spectral readings into accurate, decision ready data.

The introduction of more than 200 validated calibration models marks a significant enhancement to the SpectraStar XT platform, broadening product coverage across a wide spectrum of agricultural commodities and processed food products. The updated calibration resources enable users to conduct precise and reliable measurements with immediate effect, supporting day one operational readiness. When combined with the SpectraStar XT analyzer’s high signal to noise optical configuration and its patented TAS (True Alignment Spectroscopy) technology, the new packages create a unified quality control framework that strengthens analytical consistency across production environments.

Yuegang Zhao, President of the KPM Analytics Laboratory Solutions Division and Chief Commercial Officer, stated that SpectraStar XT analyzers are widely recognized for delivering accurate and reliable results. He emphasized that the depth and robustness of the newly expanded calibration library reflect years of development, offering producers a resource that reinforces workflow efficiency, operational consistency, and confidence in data driven decision making.

A calibration library of this depth and robustness takes years to build, and it enables producers to streamline workflows, maintain consistency, and make confident, data-driven decisions. KPMLink allows organizations to manage all SpectraStar XT analyzers from anywhere in the world. KPM Analytics Expanded Product Coverage

The first set of 10 calibration packages spans an extensive range of product categories, including feed, feed ingredients, dairy products, grains, flours, oilseeds, snack foods, and additional agricultural and processed food segments. Depending on the category, each package contains between 10 and more than 30 individual calibrations. KPM Analytics has also confirmed that further package updates and additional new packages will be introduced as the calibration library continues to grow.

This expanded collection is designed to give users a broader analytical foundation, enabling them to meet evolving quality control requirements without needing to develop calibrations independently. The ready to use format ensures that producers across different segments can seamlessly integrate the new resources into their existing processes.

Centralized Calibration Deployment Through KPMLink Cloud Platform

KPM Analytics has aligned the launch with enhanced deployment capabilities through KPMLink, its cloud based platform built for networking, calibration management, and data oversight across multiple SpectraStar XT analyzers. KPMLink serves as a centralized interface that simplifies calibration distribution while ensuring uniformity across all connected instruments.

By leveraging the platform, organizations can instantly deploy and synchronize calibration updates, including the newly released NIR Calibration Packages, to every SpectraStar XT analyzer within their network. This eliminates the traditional reliance on manual downloads and individual device updates, enabling analytical procedures to remain current and consistent across geographically distributed operations.

KPMLink provides teams with the ability to manage their analyzers from anywhere in the world, reinforcing streamlined operations and maintaining instrument alignment. The platform’s integrated structure ensures that updates reach all devices simultaneously, supporting continuous accuracy and operational coherence across the entire fleet of analyzers.

Strategic Alignment for Quality Assurance

With the introduction of the new NIR Calibration Packages and the deployment capabilities provided by KPMLink, KPM Analytics is delivering an enhanced ecosystem for quality measurement within the food and feed sectors. The combined offering provides producers with an integrated approach to achieving consistent, accurate, and efficient analysis across diverse product categories, supporting resilient and informed quality assurance workflows.
