Agritech Firm Human Ventures Receives Jury Commendation for Responsible Business at SABERA 2025

Human Ventures, an agritech firm, has been honoured with a Jury Commendation under the Promising Responsible Business Awards category (Below INR 5 crore) at SABERA 2025 (Social and Business Enterprise Responsible Awards 2025), for its work focused on expanding rural financial inclusion and strengthening livelihood security among underserved communities. The recognition acknowledged the company’s efforts to enable access to credit, insurance, and structured financial services while building long-term economic resilience at the last mile.

Building Financial Access Through Livestock-Based Livelihoods

Human Ventures was commended for advancing agriculture finance models anchored in dignity, trust, and accessibility. Its flagship initiative, GoatShala, described as the world’s first IoT enabled goat rearing ecosystem, supports marginal and tribal women through an integrated system that combines modern sheds, veterinary services, and first time access to credit and insurance. The initiative operates through the GoatGrid platform, which enables real-time health tracking of livestock. According to the company, this system has reduced goat mortality by over 90 percent, allowing participating women to earn more than INR one lakh annually within a year. Within three months of implementation, GoatShala functions as a self sustaining ecosystem once sheds are installed and financial linkages are established, operating without ongoing external dependency.
