Nkosh Kisaan AI, developed by Nkosh, has been launched as a smart agriculture assistant aimed at providing field ready, practical guidance to Indian farmers across crops and regions. Designed for real world farming decisions, the platform delivers multilingual advisory services in Hindi, English, and 11 regional languages, enabling farmers to access localized recommendations without language barriers.

Built as an end to end crop support system, Nkosh Kisaan AI covers the entire cultivation lifecycle, from sowing and crop growth to harvesting. The platform provides precise fertilizer and pesticide guidance, detailing what inputs to use, when to apply them, and in what quantity. It also supports pest and disease identification with actionable remedies, helping farmers respond quickly to field challenges. Alongside agronomy support, the system integrates daily mandi price insights and season based planning to assist growers in aligning production with market demand.

These capabilities are delivered through the Nkosh Farmer App, which offers advanced, data driven recommendations designed for on ground application. The platform is positioned for use across diverse farming contexts, including agri farms, dairy operations, horticulture, floriculture, rooftop farming, and by agri enthusiasts seeking structured, data backed cultivation support.

According to information shared by the company, farmers are adopting Nkosh Kisaan AI because it is purpose built for agriculture, offering only relevant and practical guidance. The system has been field tested and refined using farmer feedback, with updates shaped by real cultivation conditions. It has also been developed to scale across India, adapting to different crops, regional practices, and climatic zones.

Kisaan AI Expanding access to expert support

Nkosh confirmed that the next phase of platform development will focus on making advisory services more accessible and responsive at the field level. Upcoming features include WhatsApp based chat assistance, voice and direct call access, AI powered camera crop detection, soil testing integration for more precise recommendations, and on demand agronomist support. These additions are intended to bring expert inputs closer to farmers, enabling faster diagnosis and more informed input decisions.

Nkosh Kisaan AI is part of a broader “PHYGITAL” marketplace operated by Nkosh, combining physical and digital channels for buying and selling agricultural inputs such as seeds and fertilizers, alongside AI/ML based crop disease detection and advisory services that allow farmers to snap a photo of their crops for instant insights. The platform also connects farmers, buyers, and MSMEs to support transparent and affordable agribusiness transactions. The Nkosh Farmer App is available on Google Play.

The company states that its operations align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, with a focus on sustainable agriculture, poverty reduction, and economic growth for farming communities. Farmers can access Nkosh Kisaan AI via kisanai.nkosh.in, where the company says users can view practical suggestions, optimize input costs, and make more informed selling decisions. Additional tools are available through the Nkosh Farmer App.

With its integrated approach, from soil insights to market pricing, Nkosh Kisaan AI is positioning itself within India’s growing precision farming ecosystem, emphasizing data driven decisions to support yields, manage costs, and improve day-to-day farm management across the country.
