Sollum Technologies Launches SF-INFINITE LED Platform for Commercial Greenhouses

Sollum Technologies, an LED grow lights company has announced the launch of the SF-INFINITE, a dynamic LED lighting platform developed for commercial greenhouse operations. The new fixture consolidates its technology roadmap into a single system designed to adapt to evolving crop requirements, energy constraints, and market conditions.

Lighting remains one of the most capital intensive infrastructure investments for greenhouse growers. Conventional systems typically operate with fixed capabilities, requiring producers to anticipate crop strategies, regulatory shifts, and energy market changes years in advance. Sollum stated that the SF-INFINITE platform was developed to address this constraint by delivering long term adaptability without requiring hardware replacement, thereby reducing obsolescence risk and long term capital replacement costs.

“Greenhouse operators cannot predict the future when they invest in lighting,” said François R.-Moisan, CTO and co-founder of Sollum Technologies. “The SF-INFINITE was built to remove that burden. It’s a platform designed to evolve with crops, energy constraints, and market demands so growers won’t have to replace their hardware every few years. It behaves like a computer on the greenhouse ceiling and uses AI to analyze weather, energy use and other greenhouse and crop information to improve over time.”

Integration with SUNaaS and Agronomic Services

The SF-INFINITE fixture connects directly with Sollum’s AI powered SUNaaS cloud platform and integrates with the company’s agronomic services. The system enables real-time management of spectrum, intensity, timing, and daily light integral (DLI) targets.

Each fixture incorporates up to four independently controlled dynamic lighting channels per zone, allowing growers to implement crop specific lighting strategies across multiple greenhouse areas. The platform supports real time spectrum and intensity adjustments based on changing environmental conditions, production objectives, and energy pricing structures, including tariff aware dimming capabilities. Growers can manage unlimited lighting zones and optimize propagation environments through the integrated system.

Sollum stated that this architecture supports consistent crop quality across seasons while safeguarding grower investments by providing adaptability over time without the need for hardware replacement as crops, energy costs, markets, and operational priorities change.

Infrastructure Designed for Reliability and Longevity

The SF-INFINITE incorporates edge computing and telemetry at the fixture level, ensuring uninterrupted lighting operation even in the event of connectivity disruptions. Automatic updates delivered through the SUNaaS platform provide continuous performance improvements without additional capital expenditure.

Additional features include high precision control of multiple dynamic channels and an extended service life supported by long term warranty and support commitments. According to the Sollum, the platform introduces enhanced resilience and intelligence to greenhouse lighting infrastructure while aligning flexibility and reliability with operational demands.

“Static lighting architectures are no longer aligned with the realities of modern greenhouse operations,” Moisan added. “The SF-INFINITE was designed to support high stakes decisions where flexibility, reliability, and long term value are critical.”

The SF-INFINITE will make its public debut at booth 42 during the Leamington Greenhouse Grower Expo, where attendees will be able to view the platform’s application in high performance production of cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, and propagation crops.
