AVPL International, an agricultural drone technology company, has partnered with the Government of Uttar Pradesh to introduce Drone Planet Suvidha Kendras in villages across the state, expanding its mission to create “a drone entrepreneur in every village of India.” The initiative aims to equip rural youth and women with training, drones, and structured business plans, while establishing village level hubs that will provide drone spraying, precision farming, digital advisory, and agri retail services. This collaboration extends AVPL’s ongoing rural footprint, strengthens its national rollout, and integrates global insights to build a scalable model for rural drone based enterprises.

Implementation Under CM Yuva Udhami Yojana

The initiative is being executed through the CM Yuva Udhami Yojana, under which selected rural youth and women will receive training, a drone, and a structured business plan to be submitted as part of the scheme. This mechanism is intended to support the creation of drone based micro enterprises serving agricultural operations, agri retail services, and digital advisory at the village level. The Kendras will function as decentralised hubs where entrepreneurs will offer services such as spraying, field monitoring, and other technology enabled operations.

Expansion of AVPL’s Rural Presence

The onboarding of Uttar Pradesh into the programme enhances AVPL International’s rural footprint. The company currently operates in 16 states with 70 Centres of Excellence. With Uttar Pradesh now included, AVPL expects to enable thousands of rural entrepreneurs through drone technology, precision agriculture tools, digital agronomy, advisory systems, and additional income generation opportunities. On-ground establishment of the new centres will begin shortly.

Global Engagement to Strengthen India’s Drone Ecosystem

AVPL’s scale up is supported by insights gathered through international engagements focused on drone systems, agri automation, and precision farming. The organisation’s chairman is presently visiting Israel to explore advanced drone technologies. Earlier engagements included participation at the Dubai Airshow and a visit to Romania, where interactions were held with manufacturers, technology experts, and drone specialists. These exchanges highlighted areas for strengthening India’s after sales network, including the availability of spare parts, maintenance services, and specialised technical capacity. The company has stated that global learning will continue to inform efforts to build a stable and future ready domestic ecosystem.

The Drone Planet Suvidha Kendra Model

Designed as a scalable structure replicable across multiple states, the Drone Planet Suvidha Kendra will offer drone spraying and precision farming support, certification and training for youth and women, digital agronomy and farm advisory, last mile agri retail services, and various income pathways for local entrepreneurs. The centres are expected to help farmers adopt modern agricultural processes, improve productivity, reduce input usage, and operate with enhanced safety and sustainability.

Advancing Rural Drone Entrepreneurship

As Uttar Pradesh operations commence, AVPL International has positioned the Drone Planet Suvidha Kendra model as a platform for expanding rural drone based enterprises nationwide. The organisation has articulated its mission to ensure that every village hosts at least one drone entrepreneur equipped to support local agriculture through technology. The partnership with the Uttar Pradesh Government is being viewed as instrumental in enabling wider participation of rural youth and women in India’s growing drone ecosystem.

Building a Future Ready Rural Economy

AVPL International’s ongoing state level collaborations, combined with its global engagements, reflect a strategy centred on strengthening indigenous capability and expanding access to precision technology. With each new state addition, the company moves toward its goal of shaping a broad based rural drone economy designed to support farmers, youth, and village level service providers.

The partnership positions AVPL International’s village level model at a pivotal stage of expansion, aligning state backed implementation, structured training, and global technical insights into a unified rural deployment framework. As the Drone Planet Suvidha Kendras begin operations, the initiative is expected to widen access to drone based services for farmers, create sustained enterprise opportunities for rural youth and women, and strengthen the support systems required for broader precision agriculture adoption. The collaboration underscores a forward looking shift toward a more resilient, technology-enabled rural economy driven by local entrepreneurship.
