Krishi Mangal, a scale-up accelerator supported by (Cisco India CSR) has successfully supported seven revenue agro startups in the second edition of its program.

These startups are focused on scaling technologies like water and crop management and soil testing & rejuvenation. With the move, each startup has received a range of support, including fundraising guidance, piloting opportunities, mentorship programs, tech refinement, etc.

This accelerator program was first launched in 2021 and has supported more than ten startups since its launch. Additionally, it has enabled more than 35,000 small and marginal farmers by exposing them to technology and improving their productivity.

Here’s the list of second-edition startups:

  1. Niyo Farm Tech designs user-friendly sprayers to reduce drudgery and improve yields. Moreover, they have scaled up their business models by trying different sales channels.
  2. Dharaksha Ecosolutions has created a biotech project that converts crop stubble waste into biodegradable packaging material that can replace Thermocol.
  3. Proximal Soilsens has designed the tiniest and most user-friendly soil testing system: Nutrients. The system can provide quick soil results, thus saving time. In the last few years, they have scaled up their operations and enhanced their ground reach with a micro-entrepreneurship model.
  4. Urdhavam Environmental Technologies has designed a patent borewell recharging technique – Borecharger. They look to sell the product to farmers to enhance their productivity.
  5. Mivipro Products Private Limited has created Herboliv+, a bio-liquid, made from botanical products and natural ingredients. The liquid helps to mask crop odor and renders it unappetizing for wild animals.
  6. Animeta Agritech uses a digital animal healthcare platform that includes a 24/7 disease-diagnosing chatbot and a connected platform for ethnoveterinary products.
  7. Capsber Global Agro focuses on crop yields and leverages the potential for microbiome, which can result in a decreased carbon footprint. The process can also mitigate soil erosion.
