PDRL-Stratus LLC Partners to Enhance Drone Operations and Training

Drone technology startup Passenger Drone Research Pvt. Ltd. (PDRL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Stratus LLC, a Russia-based software company that specializes in unmanned aviation technology. This partnership is set to integrate PDRL’s AeroGCS software with Stratus’s UAVProf Drone Simulator, enabling seamless drone operations and simulations across various sectors, including agriculture and Remote Pilot Training Organizations (RPTOs).

PDRL claims that its AeroGCS software is a prominent ground control solution for drones, especially in India’s growing agricultural sector, where the company holds a 70% market share. Stratus’s UAVProf, a well-regarded drone simulation platform, is widely used for UAV training and the development of control algorithms. The collaboration aims to create a comprehensive solution that addresses the increasing demand for effective UAV technologies.

The partnership is expected to yield benefits for both countries. With Stratus’s established presence in the Russian UAV market, PDRL will extend its reach into a nation known for its robust technology exports. Concurrently, Stratus’s technology solutions will be introduced to India’s expanding drone market, particularly in sectors such as agriculture and RPTOs, where there is a growing need for drone simulation software.
