Farmer City International Pvt Ltd (FC), a subsidiary of AVPL International, will play a pivotal role in this partnership by integrating physical stores with digital platforms through a unique “phygital” model. This model will provide farmers with training, certification, market linkages, and access to a wide range of agricultural services and products, further empowering them and enhancing economic opportunities.
Expanding Reach and Impact Across India
The partnership will see the deployment of AVPL International’s advanced agricultural technologies at DeHaat stores, where “Dronepreneurs” will offer Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS) solutions, including data sharing and precision farming initiatives over the next three years. Additionally, AVPL International plans to open stores in agricultural mandis owned by state governments, in collaboration with the National Council of State Agriculture Boards, and provide DaaS services across 70 locations.
With AVPL International’s extensive presence across 12 states and its collaboration with the Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) to conduct drone spray operations across 50 lakh acres, this partnership underscores a strong commitment to transforming Indian agriculture. The phased rollout will begin with key agricultural regions and eventually expand nationwide, promising to usher in a new era of productivity and sustainability.
