India and Chile agreed to strengthen their collaboration in agricultural technology and sustainable farming practices, aiming to enhance productivity and address global challenges such as climate change and food security.
The commitment was solidified during a high-level meeting in New Delhi between Ramnath Thakur, India’s Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, and Esteban Valenzuela, Chile’s Minister for Agriculture. The discussions emphasized the exchange of best practices in crop diversification, organic farming, and agrotech innovations, paving the way for deeper bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector.
Bilateral Cooperation and Knowledge Exchange
Ramnath Thakur highlighted India’s achievements in the agricultural sector, particularly in organic farming, agrotech innovations, and sustainable practices.
