Aereo Secures $15M Series B Funding to Transform Agrotech with AI-Powered Drones

The agrotech industry is thriving, with companies investing in and innovating new products that benefit farmers worldwide. Aereo, a drone-based intelligence provider, recently secured a $15 million Series B funding round led by 360 ONE Asset.

Aereo delivers business intelligence solutions that help manage capital assets using AI-powered data analytics and proprietary drones. By integrating satellites and drones in agriculture, Aereo empowers farmers to make more informed decisions, enhancing productivity and sustainability. Beyond agriculture, its innovative solutions also cater to mining, urban and rural development, infrastructure, and land records.

According to the company Aereo has been recognized as one of the top three infra-tech organizations, by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), for its contributions to efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance. It claims to have achieved significant milestones in the last three years, including mapping over 45,000 villages under the ‘Survey of Villages Abadi and Mapping with Improvised Technology in Village Areas’ (SVAMITVA) scheme, covering more than 50,000 SqKm of land for the Digital India Land Record Modernization Program (DILRMP).

With the recent funding round, Aereo’s key focus will be on advancing automation in agrotech. Their AI-powered drone data analytics tool is set to revolutionize automation and digitization in agriculture, positioning them as leaders in the global drone solutions sector.

Vipul Singh, co-founder and CEO of Aereo, stated, “This funding milestone enables us to expand our aerial intelligence solutions for capital asset management.
